Engine Flush

On average, a motorist in the UK drives around 8000-10000 miles every year and over time this wear and tear creates micro-particles, deposits and clogging which need to be removed for the engine to function efficiently.

Regular servicing is key to making sure a vehicle is properly maintained. As well as lubrication, part of the role of engine oil is to remove hold micro metallic particles and carbon clogging and prevent them from causing damage. When the old engine oil is changed and replaced with fresh engine oil, the micro particles and carbon clogging leave with the oil.

However, MOTUL Engine Flush is an engine oil additive which helps to remove aggressive residues from the combustion process as well as contaminants and resins within the oil circulation system.

Removing this contamination means the engine will run more efficiently with improved compression in all cylinders- as well as consuming less oil and fuel. A cleaner and more efficient engine will also mean lower emissions, which will extend the life of after-treatment devices e.g. DPFs and catalytic converters.

MOTUL Engine Flush has been designed to work with all types of petrol and diesel engines.

Recommended Use

MOTUL Engine Flush should be poured directly into the engine oil held within the vehicle.

By adding Engine Flush to the old engine oil inside the vehicle and leaving the engine to idle for around 20 minutes, the flush is pushed around the oil system to remove contamination. By draining the old oil, the contamination and clogging will be removed before fresh engine oil is poured into the vehicle.

Engine Flush forms part of the additive range from MOTUL. There are a range of fuel system cleaners, injector cleaners, emission system cleaners and performance boosters for both petrol and diesel vehicles. Simply add them to the fuel tank when filling up with petrol or diesel. Repeated use of fuel system cleaners and fuel performance boosters will provide the maximum efficiency and results.
