Which oil do I need?

Everyone knows that you need engine oil to keep your vehicle moving and that you must get the right one or something could go bang but how do you know which one to use?

The first way to check would be to take a look in the owner’s manual of the vehicle, this will advise which is the correct oil viscosity and formulation to use. This will also tell you which coolant, brake fluid and gear oil to use.
